Tuesday 6/13/2017

Today was the final Tuesday of the school year.  Today the students are bringing home a number of writing samples from the school year.  They are mostly drafts because we typed our final copies on google docs.  I have added a link at the top of the page regarding summer work.  Please check it out so you can see what is expected of you.

Multiplication is a required topic in third grade and I want every student to be successful next year.  I am sending home math facts for the students to keep and practice all summer.  These are yours to keep.

Hello Parents,

In order to maintain and strengthen your child’s skills in language arts and math, and to prevent  the loss of learning during summer break, we are providing below the online links our students are familiar with.  We will also provide practice workbooks sold by the school on a first come first serve basis. They will be available for grades K-5 in the office and can be purchased for $12 each.

It is important your child continues to read and write on a daily basis throughout the summer. They should use the resources provided here to ensure their readiness for the upcoming  school year and the first round of NWEA testing in September.

Sincerely,

The Oakman Team
