MAJOR UPDATE!!! Suggested Specials Area Schedule!

MAJOR UPDATE!!! Suggested Specials Area Schedule!

I will be adding a new art experience for lower elementary (k-2) and upper elementary (3-5) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please select the appropriate tab at the top of the blog for your grade level. I would love to have each artist photo their art and email it to me by Monday of each week to have your name entered into a drawing for prizes that will happen at the end of the school year.

Example: Send me 10 lessons you have completed with QUALITY and EFFORT (I know what you are capable of!!) and your name will be entered 10 times.

Send me 5 quality, best-effort art lessons and your name is entered 5 times.

Send me 3 with visible effort and quality and 2 with low quality and/or effort and your name is entered 3 times.

Spirit Week Tuesday Create!

Spirit Week Tuesday Create!
This is a spring garden done with alcohol inks and acrylic paint markers.
Spring Flower also done with alcohol inks and acrylic markers on Yupo paper.

This is so much fun! You can order an alcohol ink starter set from Amazon made by Jacquard Lumiere Exciter Pack for about $13.16. You will need to order Yupo paper and need rubbing alcohol and perhaps a dropper or paint brush for applying the alcohol. Then check out YouTube for a tutorial on beginning with alcohol inks!
Let me know if you give it a try!
