Homework is to complete Lesson 4, Unit Price practice pages 33-34.
In lieu of Khan this week, due by Friday, students will be completing 33 questions on Prodigy. 21 questions are ratio related and 12 are GCF and LCM. Prodigy is not timed but will be graded upon problem completion. Students started this assignment Friday, but here is the link, just in case. https://play.prodigygame.com/ (the link is also under class links on the home page of this blog).
Also, username and passwords were recorded in planners and please use the same accounts because we added my coach code.

We started a new lesson, 4 Solve Problems with Unit Rate and homework is to complete practice pages 29-30.

Lesson 3 quiz on equivalent ratios was returned. If you are interested, retake is scheduled Wednesday at 3. The quiz must be signed by a parent and test corrections done with an explanation for each problem that was fixed.
We started an assignment (ratios) on Prodigy today. This assignment will be due by next Friday. The ratios assignment will be graded on completion of the 21 problems.

We will have our mid-unit assessment tomorrow. The mid-unit practice assessment answer key is in homework attachments which we also went over in class. You can also use lessons 1, 2 and 3 in your instruction book and homework practice pages to study.

Equivalent Ratios Lesson 3: Homework is practice pages 23-24 (see homework attachments).
Khan Academy is 20 minutes due tomorrow. The following are new skills assigned (but I also reassigned older skills to work on if you haven’t achieved 100%):
- Ratios on the coordinate plane
- Equivalent ratio word problems
- Equivalent ratios in the real world
Quiz retake for Lesson 2, Understanding Unit Rate, is scheduled for this Thursday at 3:00 but I also am available on Friday morning at 7:20. If you want a retake, take the quiz home, have a parent sign it, work on test corrections and show up Thursday at 3! Don’t forget to return the signed test and test corrections to me by Thursday at 3:00 or Friday 7:20.
