Have a sunny day!

KEEP ON MOVIN’

on April 21, 2020

Hi, boys and girls! Well, it’s April…so why doesn’t the weather know that? It’s been snowing and it is cold outside!!! The one good thing we have seen a lot of – is the SUN!!! Even when it’s cold outside, when I see the sun, it always makes me feel good and makes me smile!

Did you know you can be active in the cold weather? Just bundle up and go outside and go for a walk and look around -I spy spring flowers-even in the cold! I spy tiny leaves on the trees and the grass turning green. What do you spy?

Don’t forget, you can be active indoors, too. Jump on 2 feet and jump in the shape of the letters in the alphabet or the shape of numbers, or…the shape of the letters in your name or your family’s names! Check out the class links to the right – there are fun activities to do!

I hope you are hydrating (drinking water) throughout the day and eating healthy snacks (fruits and vegetables) and getting plenty of sleep.

I want you -everyday-to think of something positive. I know it’s hard, everything is really different, but this morning I saw pretty snowflakes – AND THE SUN! I also made a toasted bagel with a little cream cheese for my breakfast (yum). Then I sat and read a book with my morning coffee (ahhhh…). Now I am able to write in my blog and THINk OF ALL OF YOU!!!!! Now, that is something positive in my day!!!

I’ll check in soon, but don’t forget to check into iLearn and see all of the Special Area Teacher’s Classes. Don’t forget to fill out your PE Activity Log every week-it due every Friday!!

Keep smiling…..and have a sunny day!!!
