Have a sunny day!

Let it Snow!

on November 13, 2019

Well! I can’t believe we had a snow day in November! I hope you had a fun day off! Hopefully, you had fun outside – shoveling the snow, making snow angels, having a snowball fight, sledding or snowboarding or just going for a walk in the snow. Please make sure you are bundled up – heavy winter coat, scarf, hat, mittens and, of course, BOOTS! And speaking of boots, please wear boots to school on cold or snowy days. They are made to keep your feet warm while you are outside, BUT, also remember to bring shoes (and on PE Day bring your gym shoes) in a bag. Boots are not made to be worn indoors for long periods of time. They track in snow and salt from the outside and make it slippery in the halls or messy on the carpet. Wearing boots indoors will cause your feet to sweat and actually your feet will be colder outside if you have sweaty feet. Don’t forget what happens to your feet when they sweat in your boots – they are smelly! So do everyone a favor and wear boots to school, but bring shoes in a bag to change into once you get ot school. Thank you!
