If anyone  was thinking about getting a gift for me/the classroom this year!

Here are a few things our classroom could use!

Hand soap

Baby whips

Kleenex

Crayons

Head phones

Dry erase markers

Card stock

Glue sticks

Pencils

Markers

Washable ink pads (see picture below)

Laminate pockets  (see picture below)

Please do not feel like you have to get anything, but if you would like to it would be greatly appreciated!!

Project Lead the Way

Today we will begin Project Lead the Way (PLTW).  PLTW is our new science program.  I am very excited for the students to experience this amazing project based approach to teahing science! Here is a link if you have questions or would like to learn more about PLTW

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  Continue reading »

Friday, November 4th – Half day – students will be dismissed at 11:10.

Parent Teacher Conferences are November 10th, 16th, and  17th
