It’s Play Time!

It is Thanksgiving Play time!! We will be practicing three Thanksgiving plays this week and next week. The kids are doing a great job already! We are working on projecting our voices and reading with expression. We will be performing our plays on Tuesday, November 25 at 9:15 and 1:30.  I will send a reminder home on the 24th.

We are also learning and writing  about what life was like for the Pilgrims and how different it was from life today.

I am lucky to have such a talented bunch!

Apple Day was a lot of fun! The children enjoyed the centers set up around the room. We did a variety of activities such as playing a math game, tasting apples and graphing our favorites, reading about Johnny Appleseed, and cutting apples for applesauce.  Thank you to all the moms who came in to help!

After lunch, the children put on their costumes, passed out treats, and got ready to join the Henry Ford Halloween Parade!Halloween Boys! Halloween Girls!
