Good Morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I will be available and checking ClassDojo throughout the day.

The readworks articles have been assigned to the class so I will be able to see how the kids are doing.

It is supposed to be a nice afternoon so get those kids outside to run around a bit. Also, a good website for a fun break is GoNoodle.com It is free just create an account.

Just a reminder that Clever and ilearn are available to students at https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/
There are some good math games on clever and language arts practice on ilearn – Benchmark.

Good Afternoon Families!
Staff was at school yesterday so parents could pick up personal items and some academic materials. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up your child’s things, I will let you know if another possibility is available.

All grades wrote lesson plans for their students. These lesson plans are available on the Henry Ford Elementary school website. Click on On Line Learning 3/13 Through 4/13.

Students can read daily. Talk to someone about what they are reading. Write about what they read.
Count by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, 100’s.
There are worksheets on line. You will find links on the 2nd grade lesson plans but you could write some too.
Examples: 26 + 37, 426 + 537, 74 – 29, 579 – 229
Students can write a place value chart to help them. hundreds, tens, ones

I will be checking my email, spencej@dearbornschools.org and Classdojo daily in case you have questions.

I will miss all my students!! Please give them a fist bump for me! 🙂
