Pajama Day – Friday, December 22, Students may wear their pajamas to school, bring a small stuffed animal, and a small blanket if they would like.
There is an ornament sale this week. The money raised will go to charity.
Dr. Moughni is sending home a reading log for the break. I will be sending home some homework for the break as well.
I hope the children enjoyed their snow day!!
Our Second Grade Holiday Concert is tomorrow at 2:30 in the main cafeteria. Our class will be singing first with Mrs. Ballnik and Mrs. Sareini’s classes. Our class will be standing on the right side of the stage.
Students can dress up for this concert. Girls may want to wear pants under their dress for recess.
If your child wears snow boots to school, please have them bring shoes in a bag so they can take their boots off.
Next Wednesday is a Late Start day. School will begin at 9:40.
We will be decorating Gingerbread Houses at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon if you would like to come in and help.

The 2nd Grade Holiday Concert is Friday, December 15th at 2:30. The children are very excited!
Late Start – Wednesday, December 20.
We will be decorating Gingerbread Houses on Wednesday, December 20 at 2:30. You are welcome to come in and help if you would like just check in at the office first.
If you would like to donate a bag of hard candy such as the red and white mints that would be great. I have mini marshmallows, gum drops, smarties, and fruit loops already.
Attention: Families with Preschool age children who are 4 years of age by December 1, 2017. There is an immediate possibility of free full-day preschool beginning in January 2018 in the Dearborn Public Schools (next month). The family must be eligible based on risk factors and not currently enrolled in a GSRP program. If interested, families may pick up an application at the Cotter Early Childhood Center, 13020 Osborn or call Nadia Berry at 313-827-6150.
Please respond immediately as slots are limited. Families must live in the city of Dearborn.
