Classroom News from Room 211

I hope everyone stayed safe during the storm. As you know, Henry Ford School is still without power. We lost power on Wednesday morning which made for a very exciting day for the kids.

Because we missed yesterday and today, we will have our spelling test on Monday morning. I will post next weeks words on Monday. Our Social Studies test will be Tuesday.

I am not sure what the plan is for the book fair. I will let you know as soon as I know. The money the students brought in is locked up in the room.

We have a field trip on Friday to the Marquis Theater in Northville to see Alice in Wonderland.  We will leave school at 9:00 and return before lunch. I will contact the parents who are interested in chaperoning on Monday. Please return the permission slip, signed on both sides, and $5.00 for the Dearborn Historical Museum as soon as possible.

Thank  you for your Pennies for Patients donations.

Thank you to our guest readers this week.
