Cache (noun) – a collection of the same type stored away in a hidden or inaccessible place

Capacious (adjective) – having a lot of space inside; roomy

Caption (noun) – a title or brief explanation of an article, illustration, etc.

Chastise (verb) – to reprimand severely; lecture

Citadel (noun) – a fortress, typically on high ground, dominating or protecting a city

Cite (verb) to quote as evidence for or justification of an argument or statement

Clad (adjective) – past participle of clothed

Clarify (verb) – to make a statement or situation less confused or more clearly comprehensible

Commemorate (verb) – to recall or show respect for someone or something

Component (noun) – a part or element of a larger whole

Concept (noun) – an abstract idea or general notion

Confiscate (verb) – to take or seize (someone’s property) with authority

Connoisseur (noun) – an expert judge in matters of taste

Conscientious (adjective) – (of a person) wishing to do what is right, especially to do one’s work well and thoroughly

Conservative (adjective) – holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change
