PEEK AT THE WEEK
- Our letter of the week was the letter “M”. We read an interactive letter book, sang letter M songs, stamped the letter, and glued down pictures of items that start with the letter to a mitten
- Our core vocab word of the week was the word “more”. The students requested more food at meal time and for Ms. Ashley to blow more bubbles
- We read many books including Count Down to Christmas, Eight Jolly Reindeer, and Merry Christmas, Splat!
- The children made cookies with Mrs. Gallery, our speech therapist
- The students who brought money for the Holiday shop went shopping with Mrs. Kim and then wrapped their gifts for their family members
- We practiced matching shapes with puzzles and shape sorters
- The students worked on color recognition with our felt tree and colored felt ornaments
- We learned about the different things we can see during the day vs at night
- The children colored in their journals
