PEEK AT THE WEEK

  • Our letter of the week was the letter “E”.  We read an interactive letter book, sang letter E songs, stamped the letter, and glued down pictures that start with the letter E to eggs in a nest
  • Our core vocab word of the week was the word “eat”.  We read a story and pointed out who was eating, sang songs about eating and practiced signing eat at lunch and snack
  • We read many books including Glad Monster, Sad Monster, It’s Pumpkin Day Mouse, and Go Away Big Green Monster
  • The children read a counting spider book and stacked blocks to match the number of spiders on each page
  • We practiced our scissor skills with pumpkin name puzzles that we cut apart and glued back together
  • The children drew in their journals
  • We worked on building stamina during read to self time
