Winter Break Work
Dear Parents,
As an alternative to having a winter packet this year, the 5th grade team has decided to assign daily practice on ReadWorks. The ReadWorks class code is: HAHDH2. I have assigned a total of 6 different reading passages and comprehension questions. For math, you will see concepts listed below through ixl.com. Students have to work on the chosen strategies, once they get to 80% they can stop. In addition, students have checked out a chapter book from our classroom library. They are to read each chapter and write a summary on looseleaf paper and staple it to this sheet and return with a parent’s signature.
