6th Grade Orientation- Message from Dr. Dakroub
Hello future 6th grade students,
My name is Hassan Dakroub. I am the counselor at Lowrey Middle school. On behalf of our teachers and administration, I would like to welcome all of you to Lowrey Middle School. Due to school closure, we cannot have you visit and tour Lowrey Middle School this month, as we had planned.
Attached you will find a number of documents explaining what middle school is like and how to prepare yourself for success, lists of school supplies you need for each of our core classes, and a document explaining what a typical middle school day looks like. Please take time to view these documents in the next few days. I will try to attend a session with your current 5th grade teachers to answer questions you may have about middle school. Hello! My name is Mrs. Sobh. This is my seventh year teaching and I love what I do! I graduated from The University of Michigan Dearborn with a Masters degree in Education- My major is language arts and my minor is science.
Let me tell me a little about myself
I am married to the love of my life, Mouhamad, and have two beautiful kids, Madleyn, 2, and Baby Moussa ( and yes, we call him that), 4 months. They are my happiness. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, shop , dine, explore new places, and be outdoors! I also enjoy going horseback riding, going for walks, drinking coffee ( lots of it 
) , Did I mention I love nature! I can basically live outside. The beach is my happy place 
I come from a big family! I have 5 brothers, 2 sisters , and 18 nieces and nephews ( plus one more niece or nephew on the way). I am the youngest of my siblings and I love it!
Every child has a right to learn and I have a right to teach! Your child will receive the BEST education in my class! You can rest assured since I am a Mother myself, I treat my students as if they were my own kids.
