15th Annual Thanksgiving Drive/ COVID-19 Relief Effort/ Pre Distribution

Turkey giveaways for this year’s Thanksgiving are offered at 5 different locations on a first come first served basis.
ACCESS will have three locations – Dearborn (11/17/2020), Detroit (11/16/2020), and Sterling Heights (11/18/2020)

Our food mobile pantry is Monday, October 26 from 9:30-10:30 in front of Lowrey for families in need of different types of foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and proteins.
Gleaners Mobile Food Pantry will be parked in front of the school on Johnathon Street passing out food to our families.
Our first virtual parent meeting will be on Tuesday, September 29th at 11. Students please be sure to remind your parents to join the zoom meeting on Tuesday, September 29th at 11 a.m.. Have a great rest of your day!
Lowrey Family, I hope all is well. We are planning to distribute school supplies Wednesday, September 23. Please see the distribution schedule below by grade level.
6th grade distribution 12-12:50pm
7th grade distribution 1-1:50pm
8th grade distribution 2-2:50pm
Reminder: Student Lunch distribution every Friday from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at “Door Number 16” on Bingham Street. Each student will receive breakfast and lunch for an entire week.
*Lowrey School food mobile pantry is tomorrow from 9:00-10:30 in front of Lowrey for families in need of different types of foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, proteins, dairy and halal chicken.
*Alanis foundation will be at the parking lot on Jonathon administering free flu shots as well.
Good evening. Lowrey School is going to host another Kindergarten registration for LOWREY ELEMENTARY. If your child is already with a teacher, you DO NOT NEED TO COME. You’re invited to come on Thursday or Friday, September 10, or 11th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Please spread the word, we do not want to leave any child not registered.
