GPS Five W’s and How?

1. Answer the (5 W’s and How) questions in complete sentences about a time that you have used GPS. (Use two pages side by side in your ISN. Three of your answers on each page.)

2. List the route directions nice and neat (On the next page in your ISN).
3. Extra Credit: Print the map in color, cut around it to fit in your ISN, and paste it. (On the page next to your directions.)

Another question has been emailed, as directed and clarified in class, students were to finish the reading comprehension questions and letter activity over the break. It is also due on Monday, Jan. 8th, 2018.

Students were to complete a Current Events Report about the Train Derailment in the state of Washington. Also, there was an assignment that requires them to find items within their household to identify what country the items were manufactured in and then connect the country and continent with one another. Lastly, there was a list of PLACES that students had to do some more research to identify the city and country that the specific PLACES can be found.

Students have been emailing me about not finding articles about the specific topic, but there are so many that could be found online from numerous credible news sites. The research part of finding the article is a requirement to complete the assignment. With that being said, I am going to attach an article from the Washington Post, so that students can finish the assigned homework.
