Good afternoon. Students and I wrote the rough draft in class today. The majority of the students were finished writing it. It is due tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/22/2019. It must consist of: Title, Prompt, Claim, 2 Evidence, 2 Reasoning, and a Concluding Sentence using the template we used in class.
6th Grade Class Representatives
If students are running to be a Classroom Representative (Student Council Delegate), parents are required to sign the Student Council Representatives form that was sent home today and students are to complete the Student Council Nomination Form. They are both due on Monday, 09/30/2019.

Parent Meeting

Book Fair
The book fair will be open to visit next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3:00-3:30 if the middle school students are interested.

School Mobile Pantry
The School Food Mobile Program provides nutritious, healthy food for 100 families.
The mobile pantry includes 30 lbs. of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein.
Each family also receives healthy recipes and nutrition education.

6th grade field trip Wednesday 6-12-19
Due to the horrible weather forecast for Thursday, the 6th graders switched their Hemlock trip to tomorrow, Wednesday, June, 12, 2019. Students must have their permission slips completely filled out and bring a sack lunch and plenty of drinks. No glass bottles are permitted! Students may bring basketballs, baseballs, footballs, volleyballs, hoola hoops, sidewalk chalk, cards, etc. to take with them and play there.
