Good afternoon. Students and I wrote the rough draft in class today. The majority of the students were finished writing it. It is due tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/22/2019. It must consist of: Title, Prompt, Claim, 2 Evidence, 2 Reasoning, and a Concluding Sentence using the template we used in class.

If students are running to be a Classroom Representative (Student Council Delegate), parents are required to sign the Student Council Representatives form that was sent home today and students are to complete the Student Council Nomination Form. They are both due on Monday, 09/30/2019.

Dear parents,

PTA will be holding a PTA Parent Meeting on Friday, September, 27th, 2019 at 8:15 a.m. in the school cafeteria. We urge all parents to attend. Your support is deeply needed and we hope to see you there!

The first parent meeting for this school year will be held on Thursday, September, 19, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. We urge all parents to attend and become a vital part of the Lowrey School learning community with staff and students.

The book fair will be open to visit next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3:00-3:30 if the middle school students are interested.

The School Food Mobile Program provides nutritious, healthy food for 100 families. 

The mobile pantry includes 30 lbs. of  fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein.

Each family also receives healthy recipes and nutrition education.

Due to the horrible weather forecast for Thursday,  the 6th graders switched their Hemlock trip to tomorrow, Wednesday, June, 12, 2019. Students must have their permission slips completely filled out and bring a sack lunch and plenty of drinks. No glass bottles are permitted! Students may bring basketballs, baseballs, footballs, volleyballs, hoola hoops, sidewalk chalk, cards, etc. to take with them and play there. 

Good morning! Students are to organize their Global Studies binders and notebooks for the Year-End Check! I will be grading them tomorrow in class!
