VETERANS DAY CEREMONY

89 th Year

The Veterans Day ceremony will be held on Monday, November 11, as a memorial to the forty-seven Lowrey alumni who have given their lives in the service of our country.

As of now it is scheduled to be outside, so have students dressed accordingly. If there are any changes due to the weather, we are supposed to know tomorrow morning by administration.

Students are to buy their most favorite type of candy (one of the candy types listed below) enough for 30 students. We are going to be working on a “History of Halloween ” and “Economics” assignment in class.

Students are to bring completed form and exact amount of their picture package. There will be no way of making change tomorrow. Also, all students will be taking pictures for their student identification cards and the yearbook.

Our food mobile pantry is tomorrow from 9:30-10:30 in front of Lowrey for families in need of different types of foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, proteins and pediasure kits.

Lowrey’s next parent meeting will be held on October 24th, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. We urge all parents to attend and become a vital part of the Lowrey School learning community with our staff and students.

Dearborn schools’ administrators will be attending to explain the BRICS Bond. the November 5th ballot proposal will generate 240 million in funding for schools. Join us to hear how this proposal will impact schools. As always, the meeting will conclude with a raffle and prizes.
