Thank you to all members who order Chess Club shirts I will be putting in the order Monday, November 23rd. On Tuesday, we worked on two new opening moves. Everyone seems to be having fun. Chess Club continues to do well. The members are enjoying learning how to play and/or sharpen their skills. Please remember we will not be meeting Nov. 12th or Nov. 19th because of Parent/teacher conferences. See everyone tomorrow.

Dear Parents,
A letter is going home tonight cancelling Chess Club for next Tuesday, October 27th. I will not be in school that day. We will meet on Thursday, October 28th. Tuesday of this week we started our new season for Chess Club. It was fun meeting the new members and seeing our returning members. It should be a great season. Thanks for allowing me to work with a great group of students. If you are picking up your child, please meet us in the parking lot by the back door if you are waiting in your car or the hallway by the lunchroom. It is a lot easier for me to make sure everyone gets home safely. If you want your child to walk home alone then I will need a note from you giving your child permission.

Thank you to all the parents who have registered their child for Chess Club. We will be starting October 20th. I am looking forward to a great Chess Club season.
I just found out the cost for playing chess this school year will be $20.00. In the folder outside my class are the registration forms. Please feel free to pick one up and fill out the information for your child to play chess. Thank you for being so patient and have a great weekend.
Thank you to all the parents who came to my classroom last night during Open House expressing an interest in Chess Club. I am still waiting to find out the fee for this year. It is the start of a new school year as well as a start for Snow Elementary Chess Club. We will be starting in the middle of October. I will be having Chess Club every Tuesday and Thursday when school is in session from 3:45 to 4;30. Chess Club is open to all 2nd through 5th graders. There will be a cost to participate in Chess Club but I have not received how much it will be. There is a form to be filled out and returned to me before or due on the first day of Chess Club. You can find that form on the bulletin board located to the right of my classroom door. My classroom is room 11 across from the gym. I will keep you all updated and post when the official first the day Chess Club will begin. I am looking forward to another great Chess Club year.
