I know there are a lot of you that are asking do I still need to work if school is going to be called by the Governor?

The answer is: YES, YOU MUST KEEP WORKING. The state is using language that leaves a lot to be interpreted by each district. Please don’t stop working!

I am missing all of you and hope that you are doing well. Remember you have a video to watch and questions to answer.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

Hope you are all staying safe and healthy! Seniors many of you have reached out to me as far as information regarding graduation, prom, and points. I am sorry but I am not the all knowing source. I have to wait for information too. Once I have it I always share it with you in the simplest terms so you guys understand. Please remember the most important thing I have to share with you now is that you need to keep working hard right now! Please watch the emails from the school district. We have 7 “school days” till we are on spring break and there will be no posted class work. Hopefully, on April 14th I will see you all! I have truly missed you. If I hear anything else I promise I will tell you as soon as I know!!

I will be posting this weeks second assignment later this evening. Please keep in mind that you need to turn these in on time.

Hey everyone thank you for keeping up with your work! I have been missing each one of you!! I have missed being in class and getting to cook with you and spend time getting to know you. I really hope that you are staying safe and healthy! Remember there are meals being passed out at Fordson if you are in need of food no questions asked. Get some if you need it!!

Keep working hard on the assignments that ALL of your teachers have given you. I know some are harder then others, but remember the work we do now only supports the people fighting to make the hours count.

March 23rd 2020

Please look to the google classroom site for this weeks assignments. There will be three assignments this week. We are at the eLearning model for this week and next. Please I know you have seen that the Michigan Department of Education has said online learning won’t count. But here is the deal there are people fighting still to make sure that the time counts. KEEP WORKING. If you do your part and continue to learn and show that effort and work that is going to make the jobs or the Teachers Unions fighting the fight for the hours to count. Keep working hard please!!!

March 18th, 2020

Well the official day 3 of quarantine. I hope everyone is doing okay and staying healthy! I need you all to do some reading remember you need that 1,200 reading score when you graduate. So pick up a book and read everyone! I don’t care what the book/magazine/graphic novel is JUST READ PLEASE!! There is an assignment in google classroom. Please ladies and gentlemen complete the assignments in a timely manner. I know that lots of families are sharing the computers but please complete the assignment before the closing of the assignment. This does two things: 1.) makes me very happy! 2.) Keeps me from getting fifty-eleven emails that you turned the assignment in however many hours late. YES FOLKS WE SEE THAT!!

FYI: google classroom is set up so that students can’t cheat!

Have a great day and please make sure to look at google classroom.

March 17th 2020 Happy St Patrick’s Day!!

As most of you know I am part Irish like a percentage. This means that today I will be dinning on classics like corn beef and cabbage. Which is a Beef Brisket cooking in a pot covered in water and pickling spices added to the water. Later once that meat has started to get tender I will add some new potato’s, baby carrots, turnips, and cabbage to the pot and they will boil with the meat. The potato’s and carrots are my favorite part of the dish. Now, the corn beef can be served a bunch of different ways sliced thin by hand and served with the veggies or sliced even thinner using a slicer (a machine you see the deli meat cut on) to make a most wonderful sandwich called a Reuben. This sandwich is served on rye bread, with melted swiss cheese, thousand island dressing, and either sauerkraut, or coleslaw. The sauerkraut and coleslaw preference actually makes the sandwiches two different sandwiches but that is a story for another day. Have you ever had pastrami? That is smoked corn beef and it is super yummy too!! Have a great day and make sure to complete the veggie quiz, and take a look at the Fancy Ramen video. Stay safe and healthy!!
