Dear Families,
This week counselors gathered together to learn about some of the issues facing communities today. Some of those issues involve social media, marketing that targets young children, substances accessible in one’s home and the short-term and long-term cause and effect on individuals. Also, peers and the dynamics affecting the entire family were also discussed. Schools may see signs that parents may not see and vice versa. Talk to your child, become educated on the issues children are facing. If you would like some information shared with the counselors you can stop in the counseling office.
