Nov 8th A Neighbor Thanks You for Your “Labor of Love.”

Today NJHS & Smith students joined volunteers to rake for a senior. Armed with rakes, students worked tirelessly raking leaves for a senior neighbor. Thank you to Ms. Janet Damien, a former Smith Alum and Smith neighbor who helped identify the home and joined us in raking. Ms. Damien, is also the angel who volunteered to save Smith’s garden. It warmed our hearts that this group of students were able to extend a “labor of love” in the name of community service. Our neighbor was very grateful for the service.
