Dear World, From Smith Students
Dear World, What I think of your sacrifices I think the sacrifices were hard but not that difficult. I did get bored sometimes though and I missed going to the mall or a restaurant. It wasn’t life threatening to stay at home. I did get bored a lot though and I missed my friends and school. You think you don’t like school but when you are away from it so much you start to miss it. And it’s also hard to do online work and because it is distracting from when in a classroom . Having to wear a mask when in the stores was tough. It gets hard to breath through a mask and so many holidays passed by during the quarantine and we couldn’t have a big celebration because of the corona virus. OL Smith 6th Grader K.C.
Dear World, What I think of your sacrifices, your time and energy to take care of me. What I will remember of your sacrifice was my parents’ hard work. What I will tell my family in 25 years when they read about us in history, tell them all about the things I learned and did with them. When my kids come home and complain about simple things, I will tell them I was in quarantine during a pandemic. OL Smith Middle School 6th Grader, A. A.
