Dear World, From Smith Students

What I think of your sacrifices… America couldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for the doctors, nurses, teachers, police, family, fire department and many more. We are very thankful for everything they do to protect us. What I will remember of your sacrifice, it helped a lot by listening and staying safe and protected my family. What I will tell my family in 25 years when they read about us in history that this was a very hard time for everybody and people had to stay home to stay safe. We couldn’t even go to school and all the world just stopped because of this virus. What I want front liners to know is that they help out a lot of people and we couldn’t do it without them. When my kids come home and complain about simple things, I will tell them… that some kids don’t have what we have and we are lucky. What small thing I did to help during this time – I.e.: stop whining, cook dinner, pray for…., check on my grandmother/neighbor who lives alone, post a message on Instagram for the doctors & nurses.  I helped out with chores and prayed that all this is over soon and everyone is safe and healthy.
