Smith NJHS Students & Parents at State Summit

Tuesday, March 5, some of our NJHS students and parents attended Michigan’s State Summit. Students, advisors, and parents attended this amazing summit facilitated by the National Association of Secondary Schoool Principals and NJHS national office. The summit was held on the campus of U of M Ann Arbor. Students met their leader peers from around the state. The sessions were engaging and student driven. Students ended the day by presenting their vision for a service activity for important social causes, like H2o, , Global Citizenship, Wellness & Mindset & Improving Learning. A special thanks to Ms. Anne Michelis and Ms. Amal Berry, two of our wonderful parents who also participated in the advisor sessions. Thank you for all your support!!!
