Hey students! I looked at some of the questions you had about the virus and have started creating some things for you to work on.

You can find the first part here. It’s a presentation for you to read and look at, followed by a short youtube video. Then, there are questions for you to answer. I’ll check this on Friday.

2. Make sure you finish all the previously assigned work. I decided that I will post the next assignment on Wednesday to give you time to get other stuff finished up!

Hi Students! Hope things are going well! Here’s a picture from last night of the dogs sleeping on the couch. The brown dog is Wizard, he’s our dog for real, and the black one is Boomer. We’re just taking care of Boomer right now until he finds a good home.

Dear Ninth Grade Fordson students,

My Name is Joseph Sicheneder. I was supposed to start Monday teaching your Biology class for the rest of the year. However, we are not in school right now and won’t be for some time yet, as you no doubt know. I’m very excited to teach you Biology, whether it happens remotely on this website or (hopefully soon) back in the classroom.

Since I don’t know any of you yet, for the first assignment I’d like you to read the About Me page. Then I want you write a letter telling me about yourself. You can email me (sichenj@dearbornschools.org) what you write. Feel free to be creative and include videos or pictures!

Your letter should include:

• About yourself
• What do you like to do?
• What do you like about high school so far?
• What you are looking forward to next year in 10th grade
• What are some of your strengths?
• What are some things you need to work on?
• What do you want to learn about during the next couple weeks?

This assignment will be worth 10 pts and is due on Friday, March 20th.
