Thank you to the PTA for a wonderful luncheon last week in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.

Also thank you to the generous families that gave me a thoughtful card or gift for Teacher Appreciation Week.  I consider all of your children as my own.  Many times they even call me “mom” by mistake.  It is my honor and privilege to be their teacher this year and work with such wonderful families.

PBIS Celebration

Dear Snow Families,
Our next PBIS celebration will take place this Friday, April 29th.  Students with 4 or less card flips and no office referrals will be able to attend.  The Snow PBIS Team is allowing students to bring their electronic equipment (handheld gaming devices, IPads, etc.) to school.  Students are to keep their equipment in their backpacks until the celebration time.  Students must bring a signed permission slip from their parent in order to bring an electronic device from home.  Permission slips will be sent home this week.  Chromebooks will be available for students who are unable to bring electronics.
Thank you,
Snow PBIS

Please remember that all Reading Bags are due on Monday.  If your child turns in their bag late, then they will receive their next book and assignment late as well.

T-shirt order form coming home today – due MONDAY

Dear Snow Community,

As most of you know we have three very important events taking place in the last few weeks at Snow School.  On May 6 our leadership skills will be showcased in a Leadership Day that celebrates our accomplishments as a first year Leader in Me School.  District and community dignitaries will visit us for a student run exhibition of what Snow stands for.  On Thursday, May 26, Snow School will host a Clean Up Parade at 9:30 am.  On Friday, June 3, students and staff will participate in our annual Field Day.

To show our pride in our accomplishments and our commitment to our leadership program we are asking that all students and staff order a t-shirt that will be worn at these three events.  The t-shirts are just $5 each.  There is an order form coming home Thursday, April 21.  The form and money need to be at Snow NO LATER than Monday, April 25.  We apologize for the very short notice, but hope you are interested in making this vision of school unity a reality by having everyone in the same t-shirt at these events.  Questions or concerns can be asked of Jo Anne Zechar, in the art room, a phone message or email zecharj@dearbornschools.org.

Thanks for your cooperation and initiative on the quick turnaround request.  To see everyone at Snow in the same light blue shirt that reads, “We are Snow, Leaders” with a howling wolf image will make us stand out as we celebrate our great achievements this year.
