We are waiting on a few students who were absent last week to take the Unit 6 Math test.  As soon as they have taken the test and I have graded them, I will send all Unit 6 Math tests home.  If your child scored a “3” on the test, he/she can do test corrections to improve their score.  If you child scored a “4” on the test, he/she can retake the test no later than this Friday.  It is the student’s responsibility to tell me when they are ready for the Re-Test.

Reminder that this Wednesday, March 15th is a Late Start Day.  The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m.

Please try your best to have your children to school and in the gym by the first bell at 8:35 a.m.  If they are walking in late, they will not be able to enter the gym for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Ms. Zechar has been working hard to organize a 4th grade field trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts on Friday, March 31st.  We will need parent chaperones for this field trip.  The permission slip will be sent home in the coming weeks.  I wanted to give parents a heads up to make sure they have a background check on file in the office if you plan on being a chaperone.  There is no limit to the number of parent chaperones that we take on this trip.  Some will be able to join us on the bus, but once we are at capacity, other parents will have to drive separately.  It takes up to 2 weeks to get a background check approved.  All background checks are good for 3 years.  If you are not sure if your previous background check is up to date, you can email myself or call Michelle Segerson in the office to verify the dates.
