No Spelling words this week due to the shortened week.

Students should continue to practice long division at home over the extended Thanksgiving weekend.

Students are expected to read over the Thanksgiving weekend and return their completed Weekly Reading Logs next Monday with 150 minutes read. There are no Reading Bag assignments over the Thanksgiving Break.

Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 27-Friday, November 29 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

PTA Updates

Hello all! Here’s a brief PTA update to carry us through the end of the year:

  • Popcorn Friday: this Friday Nov. 22.
  • Hungry Howie’s fundraiser: 
    • Pizzas certificates (medium, 1-topping) will be sold for $6 each.
    • Students must have their name and teacher on their order forms when they turn in their final orders and money on Dec. 4th.
    • PTA will come around to each classroom during the day on Friday, Dec. 9 to collect order forms and money. 
    • Each student who sells 3 pizzas or more will receive a prize. Top sellers gets Five Below gift card or Book Bingo package!
  • Holiday Shop:
    • Dec. 9-12th. on the school stage
  • Book Bingo: Dec. 13th, 6-8pm.

Thank you to all of the parents that attended Parent Teacher Conferences last week. The make up day for conferences from the Snow Day is today, Monday, November 18th.

The Math Topic E quiz was given on Friday and has been checked and is coming home today.

Please continue to make sure your child is keeping up with their Reading Bag assignments. Students are to read every night and complete an assignment. Many students have been falling behind in their work.

All Weekly Reading Logs are due every Monday. If your child loses a copy of the Reading Log, there are extras near the mailboxes at school.

Order forms and payment for the Snow School Yearbook are due TODAY. Extra order forms are in the office.
