Welcome back!

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who gave me thoughtful cards and gifts for the holiday!  I am so lucky to work with such amazing families!  I hope everyone enjoyed the vacation and spent quality time with friends and family.

Winter NWEA testing will begin this week.  We will be taking one test a week and will be testing Language, Science, Math and Reading.  Once all testing is over, a report will be sent home so you can see your child’s progress since the fall testing.

Just a reminder that we are back to our regular routine of reading 20-30 minutes every night and filling out the Reading Log.  Students should also be reading the assigned book that is sent home in their reading bags.

We are continuing multiplication in math and will begin division this week.  It is important that students have memorized their basic multiplication facts up to 10 x 10.  Continue to practice these facts at home with your child.
