Reminder that money and order forms for an Earth Day t-shirt are due this Wednesday, May 8th.  These shirts will be worn during our Clean Up Parade which is Thursday, May 16th at 1:30 p.m.

Reminder that money and permission slips for our final field trip are due by Monday, May 13th.  We are going to the Michigan Science Center in Detroit on May 28th.  Parent chaperones are needed and must have a current background check on file in the office.  We have two buses going, so parents may ride on the bus with us if they choose to.  If your child does not pay by May 13th, they will not be permitted to attend the field trip.

Reminder that our 4th grade Music Concert is Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:00 p.m.  All students are expected to attend.

We will continue M-Step testing this week in Math.  We test in the morning, so it is important that your child get a good night’s sleep, has a healthy breakfast in the morning, and arrives to school on time.

There will be a Government Quiz this Thursday, May 9th.

If students are absent from school it is their job to catch up on any assignments missed.  Assignments must be completed and turned in within a few days of being absent.  Students are not excused from completing work when absent.

If your child has a birthday in the summer, you will receive a note today stating what day in May or June that we will celebrate your child’s birthday in class.  As always, please notify me ahead of time if you plan on sending in treats to celebrate your child’s birthday.

Happy Ramadan for all who celebrate!  Students who are fasting during lunch will go to the Media Center after lunch recess.
