The Unit 7 Math Test has been graded and is coming home today.  If your child scored a “4“, a parent must sign and return the test.  If your child scored a “1”, “2”, or “3”, you do NOT need to return the test.

Students must continue to study and practice their factors for the 3 minute tests.  Extra homework will be sent home for students who continue not to pass after several tries.

The weather is starting to warm up.  All 3-5 graders should be lining up on the playground in the morning off of Houston street.  The only students who should be entering through the lobby are Kids Club students and any student who rides the bus.  Please make sure your child is following the school’s policy of lining up in the correct location before school.

Starting this Thursday, the new security system will be up and running.  Lobby doors will be unlocked from 8:15-8:45 a.m. and 3:35-4:30 p.m.  All other doors will remained locked all day.  If you need to enter the school during school hours, you will need to use the security system to be buzzed in by the office.

All Reading Bags are due on Monday.  Several students are not turning them in on time and this makes it difficult to get the new books and assignments ready.   If your child turns in their reading bag late, they will have to change their card for not being responsible.

Wednesday, March 11th is  Late Start Day.  The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m.  Breakfast will not be served in the classroom.  Students may go to the cafeteria for breakfast starting at 9:00 a.m.

Snow School’s Last Skate Night for the year is this Thursday, March 12th.  Information for tickets will be coming home today.
