The PBIS party for December is tomorrow.  Students could only change their card 4 times in the month of December and have no ODR’s in order to be invited to the party.  Students will watch a movie with popcorn in the gym.  They may bring a blanket of towel to sit on if they want to be more comfortable.  Each student already knows if they are going or not.

The 5th graders are doing a special “recycled sculptures” project with Ms. Zechar.  She is looking for donations of objects that students can use to create their sculptures.  If you have anything to donate, please send it to school and we will give the items to Ms. Zechar.

The January Scholastic Book Club Order is due this Friday, January 16th.

At the beginning of the year, I had over 20 pairs of scissors in my “borrowing basket” for students to borrow then return when doing projects.  Unfortunately, I am down to only 4 pairs of scissors.  If your child borrowed any scissors, please return the scissors as soon as possible.  I am also looking for donations of child safety scissors to replace the ones that were never returned.

Reading Book Bags are due every MONDAY.  Please make sure your child returns the book and assignment on time.

Reminder that this Wednesday, January 14th is a LATE START.  The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m.
