Watch the story video.  Make a chart to write all the words you see in the story with the y making the long I sound like cry on one side and words using the ight spelling pattern on the other side.

Give 3-4 details.  What friends will you call to meet you there?  What will you play first, second, and third?

You win a trip on an African safari!  What animal are you hoping to see?  Give 3 details.  Why do you want to see this animal?  What does it look like?
Social Studies:
Draw a picture and write about a holiday that you celebrate.  How do you celebrate?Special food? Family? Traditions?
Science:
Click on the link below to read  a story called, “Shadow Play.”  After the book, there is an activity called Trace Your Shadow that can you complete if you have time. You will need sidewalk chalk to do it. Do not move on to Mystery 3!
