Hello families,
I hope everyone is enjoying your summer. Remember to work on your homework packets and read every chance you get. Take a good book with you if you go on a car ride or read to a younger brother or sister before bed. Visit the library if you can.
Be a scientist. Test what materials will float or sink in water. Remember to make a prediction before you try. Try a penny, a small ball, paper, a spoon, a small plastic toy and other small items. Be creative. The property of being able to float is called buoyancy. When would this property be important?
