Good morning! Can you believe that the sun is out?
Did you know the English word Thursday is named after the Norse god of thunder, Thor? Thursday means Thor’s day in Old English. Thor is represented riding a chariot drawn by goats and wielding his hammer. In most languages with Latin origins, the day is named after the god and planet Jupiter.
Anyway, here is the lowdown for today:
ELA 6 – Read Chapter 8 of The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass. Just a heads up, an essay will be coming soon…
ELA 8 – Please read Chapter 11 of The Kite Runner and answer the questions (in google classroom).
E2020 – You know what to do.
Have a great day! Check the news today, we should be getting some answers about the rest of the school year from the Governor.
