I recommend carpooling 🙂  Parking is in Parsons street garage, get a ticket and they will validate it for you. Please be sure to pick up on time. We will be done at 8:00pm. Thanks!  See you there!!

Thursday Feb. 6 – 3:50-5:05 Stout – Know the music. I-tunes card for winners!

MONDAY Feb. 10 – Rehearsal at the MAX. (Orchestra Hall)  6-8 rehearsal.  Please arrive no more than 5 min early. Park in parsons garage, get ticket, bring in to be validated so you don’t have to pay. We need ALL Students at this rehearsal.  EDSEL play students have permission from Mr. Doyle to attend this rehearsal at the MAX. Please be there.

Thursday, Feb. 13 – 3:50-5:05 Stout Rehearsal.  Continue to work on and memorized.

Just a reminder to have the Blessings from the Children learned and memorized  for Thursday.  Parents, please help in making sure your child is practicing! We need to have it ready for our Monday, Feb. 10 rehearsal at The Max.  WE HAVE A $10  I-TUNES gift card for one person from each section who knows it best on Part 1 and Part 2!!!! Let the best singer WIN!  Please be on time so we can begin at 3:50!

I am hopeful we have FULL attendance at rehearsal today.  We only have TWO Rehearsals to learn the Blessings piece before we practice with the Detroit Children’s Choir. This isn’t much!  Please be there.  Multiple absences have been a problem for some students and it affects the entire group.  Thank you!

Yeah! Our Concert is today! Please arrive at 6:00pm. Also, make sure you have practiced your music with the recordings before you arrive.  Uniform:  Hc Shirt, Black dress pants, black socks, black shoes. We want to look uniform and sharp! See you then!

We need all students at rehearsal today! This is the final rehearsal before concert Wed! Academic games have permission to come to rehearsal when you are done- about 4:20. Bryant 6th grade orchestra/ band Chavez permission to be at OUR rehearsal. The concert conflict for Bryant was resolved. Please be on time today!  Chavez = have. Spell error!

Tuesday, Jan 21 3:50-5:05 pm. Stout. This is our dress rehearsal for concert. PLEASE make every effort to be there. Music MUST be memorized! Put in the time at home.

Wednesday, Jan 22 – Concert Day:  Call time:  6:15pm in band room. Please be on time.  Concert Attire:  Shirt, Black Pants (no skirts). We need to look uniform. Concert begins at 7:00pm

Thursday, Jan 23 – 3:50-5:05pm. Yes, we need rehearsal. We must begin Blessings of the Children. Please begin practicing with recordings on blog.

I am very sorry I have to cancel rehearsal for Thursday, Jan 16 due to some unforseen events. We will still have rehearsal on TUESDAY JAN 21 at 3:50-5:05 pm as listed on the schedule we passed out last week.  Since this is THE DAY BEFORE our CONCERT, we need everyone there. I understand some of you had prior committments, please do your best to be there.  It is our only practice before the concert.  MUSIC Must be memorized. Parents please help with this. The students did not have it memorized as of last week.  Thank you for your support and understanding!
