Secondary Honors Choir begins on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Stout Middle School. We will meet from 3:50-5:05 pm.  Please be a few minutes early (no earlier than 3:40).  We will be testing voices, determining parts, and getting started on a song!

Activity fees can also be turned in at this time.  Please bring a check made out to Dearborn Public Schools for $20.  In the memo line, write “Secondary Honors Choir.” Fees will be due by  Sept. 25.

A reminder our final concert is tomorrow, Thursday May 1. Please take time to practice today AND tomorrow! Blessings is memorized – movements 1 and 2.  You can’t stop the beat is MEMORIZED with Choreography.  Report to choir room at 5:30pm for rehearsal.  Concert begins at 7. Please turn in folders tomorrow. See you then!!

Our last concert will be at Stout Middle School on Thursday, May 1st. Students arrive at 5:30pm for a mandatory rehearsal and  concert begins at 7:00pm.  Practice Practice Practice this week!  Blessings first two movements memorized and You can’t stop the beat.  Uniform: HC shirt and black dress pants, black socks, black shoes.

Please make sure your child is ON TIME for the rehearsal. We need all of them to make this a success. We were missing several students before the break.

Our next concert will be Wednesday, April 16th. It is the Youth In Arts Festival.  Students will need to report to the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in their honors choir uniforms at 4:30. Concert begins at  7:30 and is FREE! The rest of the day will go as follows:

Dress rehearsal/concert info:

4:45 – all performing groups report to the stage

5:00 – 6:30 Run through rehearsal.  This is only a run through.  There will not be time to repeat any of the pieces.

6:30 – 7:15 – Pizza in the dome room, compliments of the Dearborn Community Fund

7:30 – 8:30  Showtime!
