Youth In Arts Festival Info- Wed. April 22

Following is the Youth in Arts Festival info.for Wednesday April 22.  It is at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center (FCPAC)  The concert portion is free to families!

The evening time frame will be as follows:
4:45 – arrive at FCPAC and get in place on the stage. Parents, you can return for the concert portion which begins at 7:30.
5:00 – 6:30 – Dress Rehearsal – This will be an opportunity to run through your numbers, allowing us to adjust lighting, sound equipment, etc.  Unfortunately, time will not allow us for you to rehearse your pieces.
6:30 – 7:20 – Pizza dinner provided by the Dearborn Community Fund
7:30 – 8:30 – Collage Concert

Secondary Honors Choir Attendance Policy

Hello, everyone!  While looking over our attendance, I felt I needed to review the policy to make sure everyone understands how important attendance is and your commitment to musical excellence.

Rehearsal time:  Rehearsal BEGINS at 3:50 pm and ends at 5:05 pm. It is expected that students are in the choir room and ready to sing by 3:50 pm.   If there is a transportation issue, please email me and let me know ahead of time.

Absences: Students are allowed two absences per semester.   If a student is going to be absent, please email Ms. Pegouske so it can be marked excused.   There are cases where there is an extenuating circumstance and I am very understanding.  I need to make sure families are communicating with me.

Sports:  In the past, we have made accommodations for students to be in sports and honors choir.  It has not worked out well.  It is more important for a student to make a full commitment, either to the sport or honors choir. Thanks for understanding!

Our Concert is tomorrow! Please report to the BAND ROOM at 6:05 pm in uniform. We will rehearse at 6:10 pm .  Concert BEGINS at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.  Be sure to practice your music today!  You should know it so well that you could sing it if you were the only person on your part.  See you soon!  Our next scheduled rehearsal after the concert is Thurs. January 29.!!
