The City of Dearborn has changed the tree lighting to Monday, Nov. 20. Please mark it on your calendars! With our smaller number of singers this year, we definitely need every voice!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at rehearsal today! This year, we have about 20 singers and each week, 10 have arrived late – 40 minutes late. While I understand that there are other children to pick up, if you are able, please arrange your schedule so that your honors choir singer can be dropped off on time. It would be greatly appreciated! We don’t have much rehearsal time as it is and we need to use it efficiently. Thank you for your help!

Greetings! We have begun rehearsals! Our next rehearsal is Thursday, October 5! I hope to see more of you there. We had 20 absences from those who were registered on the blog. Please spread the word, we need you! Opportunities this year include Tree Lighting, the Nutcracker, Youth In Arts, and winter and spring concert! We are also looking into the possibility of a spring trip to Chicago! I hope to see all of you this week!
I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 3:50-5:05pm. Please arrive ready to sing! We will meet in the choir room at Stout (the usual location). You can also bring activity fees at this time: $20 check made out to Dearborn Public Schools and in the memo line write your child’s first and last name. Thank you so much!

If you are receiving this post, you are confirmed for Secondary Honors Choir for 2017-2018! Rehearsals will begin on Thursday, Sept 21 at 3:50pm -5:05pm at Stout Middle School. I will send out another post as we get closer to that date. I am looking forward to meeting all of our new singers and seeing returning members!!
