Holiday Nights Update!
Please arrive (or drop off your students) no later than 5:45 at the fountain in the main entrance of the village.
As far as chaperones go, we have had a lot of parents volunteer. Thank you! With such a large number going, Mr. Floetke and I decided it would be best for singers to go with their families during the breaks and return at the appropriate time to sing again. If families want to go around together, even better. This is such a great event to get to know new people. If students are just being dropped off, we will have groups for them to go around with as well.
*If you have yet to turn in the signed form for the village, or received your complimentary wristband, you can do so tomorrow when you arrive.*
Here is the forecast for tomorrow night. We will be singing outside and will be outside most of the evening. Please dress accordingly. I find dressing warmer is always better. It could be sprinkling so you may want to plan for that too. Gotta love Michigan!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. This is going to be such a fun event. See you all tomorrow!
Holiday Nights Info for Monday, Dec. 21!
We will meet by the fountain at 5:30pm. Please dress for the weather! Chaperones and parents be permitted to enter at 6:30pm. Just a reminder there are lots of fun treats so bring a few dollars. Music to practice is on the blog. Please take the time to practice a couple of times beforehand 🙂 We are looking forward to a fun evening of singing!
Reminder! Rehearsal Thurs. 3:45-4:30pm
A reminder our rehearsal on Dec. 17 will have an adjusted time. It will be from 3:45 pm until 4:30 pm. Many students have a concert that night. PLEASE be on time to rehearsal and for pick-up. All singers are expected to be at rehearsal. Thank you and see you soon!
Dec. 17 REH time and Holiday Nights
Our Rehearsal on Dec. 17 will have an adjusted time. It will be from 3:45 pm until 4:30 pm. Many students have a concert that night. PLEASE be on time to rehearsal and for pick-up.
We will be finishing music for Holiday Nights. I also have information packets and one complimentary wristband per student. Students who were present yesterday received them yesterday.
I am very surprised to say we had 15 UNEXCUSED absences yesterday. This drastically changed what we were able to accomplish. It is also why we need each and every singer now on December 17. Honors Choir policy is that parents should notify me via email in advance if a student is going to be absent. Your respect and consideration is appreciated.
Thank you to those of you who were present during this busy time for all of us.
Wonderful Job! Rehearsal Thurs.
Wonderful job on the Tree Lighting and the Nutcracker! I am so proud of each and every one of you! You are committed, professional and so very musical! It is a gift to work with all of you! See you Thursday at our regular time and place!
