Everyone did a fantastic job on the Nutcracker! I am always amazed at your musicianship and commitment! Wonderful singing and performing! Thank you also to Mr. and Mrs. Karoub for helping out on Saturday! I hope you enjoyed the performances!
I will see you all for rehearsal on Thursday, Dec. 7. Please bring your binders with your music! We have much to do, getting ready for Holiday Nights and our Winter Concert in January!
We will see everyone at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center tonight at 6:30pm. Parents, we should be finished between 8 and 8:15 pm. Please make sure your child has a way to reach you if we are finished early. Singers – please practice your music today and make sure it is memorized. There is a practice tab on the top of this blog that says “Previous practice files” and Nutcracker is on it!
As on the original schedule, we will be performing for Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village. The day we have been assigned is Friday, December 22, 2017. Following is the information:
December 22- Holiday Nights

SCHEDULE:
6:00 PM Meet in the Josephine Ford Plaza by the fountain promptly
PLEASE BE ON TIME! Guests (including parents) will not be able to enter the Village until 6:30. I will let parents know the exact singing location for the night when you drop off your child.
6:30 PM- 9:30 PM We will sing off and on throughout the night. (We will take breaks, depending on weather)
Each singer will receive one complimentary ticket to use for a guest (parent/chaperone). I will be passing them out when we meet at the Josephine Ford Plaza.
If you wish purchase additional tickets to see the choir perform, you must purchase ahead of time either on the website https://www.thehenryford.org/current-events/calendar/holiday-nights-in-greenfield-village/ or by calling 313-982-6220. In the event that the evening is sold out, Henry Ford will not be able to accommodate addtional tickets, so please be aware of this.
It will be a wonderful experience! I look forward to sharing the holiday season with all of our students!

Just a reminder, tickets can be purchased at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Box Office. On performance days, students are free to leave at intermission, however they MUST check out with either Ms. Pegouske or Mr. Walters. Students also have the option to stay and watch the rest of the ballet as long as parents pick them up directly after the show is over.

Hello! If you plan on attending one of the performances of Nutcracker, you will need tickets. They can be purchased at www.dearborntheater.com. Students who are singing do NOT require a ticket. Enjoy!!
A reminder we have Nutcracker rehearsal today! Please arrive right at 3:50 pm. We will end at 4:50pm today! Also, bring $1 for pizza. Today, I will be handing out hard copies of directions for our rehearsal at the Max M. Fisher Music Center on Monday Nov. 27. See you soon!

Please use the “House Right” – East Entry double doors closest to Studio A. I will have someone directing HC Members to the Theater to avoid confusion. Remember, you may bring your folder for On a December Night! Please practice your music after school so it is fresh in your mind when you arrive!

Just a reminder, the Tree Lighting is Monday, Nov. 20 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. We will be singing on the 2nd floor and not in the theater. Please bring your child no later than 5:30 pm to the Hubbard Ballroom. Our performance is at 6:15 pm. Afterward, we will head outside for a community sing along and the lighting of the tree. Please be sure your child has a warm coat and hat. Tree Lighting ceremony will be done by 7:00 pm.
Just a reminder to wear long black dress pants, long sleeve black shirt, black socks and black shoes for the performance.
Practice recordings have been shared with students on Google Drive. Please make sure all music is memorized for our rehearsal this Thurs. Nov. 16. See you then!
