Hi, I’m Miley and today I’m going to tell you about my summer vacation at Camp Dearborn! So, let’s get started…

It’s a 48 minute drive from my house. Everyone is texting in the groupchat…”On my way” or “I’m here!” So the way we do it,  is we have E row and F row full of best friends, and they’re very close like family! We get there, and we unpack. By “we,” I mean my family, not me. After everyone is unpacked, we get lunch.

We get lunch at the canteen. They have yummy fries and yummy ice cream. So we have lunch and then go on a bike ride. Let me tell you, going on a bike ride when you’re ten with teenagers is NOT easy! They go so fast, and they do not wait for you! It’s so annoying. But overall we have so much fun! It’s usually dinner time when we get back. We have dinners where different dads cook different food every night! They’re such good cooks.

Next, we go to the canteen to dance! After that, we come to a fire and sit for a second. Then we go to the swings, cabins, lake or stage! It’s so cool being able to hang out with the big kids!

We repeat every night and have so much fun!

The kids at camp were Bess, Lily, Olivia, Taron, Riann, Quinn, and Hayden, the Hamels, the Maranos and me and my family.
