This Saturday I had a  football game at Redford High. In the beginning it was  0 – 0, then we scored a run play to make a score of  7- 0. We were all so excited to work our hearts out so that we could win this game.

Then we scored again to make the score 14 – 0. We were all screaming on the sidelines because we were so happy. Then it hit second quarter, and nobody had scored yet until they caught us off  guard with a pass play to make the score 14 – 7. Our coaches were so angry that we just let that happen. They said “You better not let that happen again!”

Then it was the second quarte, andr nobody had scored at this point.  It was our ball. If we made a big play here, it would be really good for us,  and we did! Our running back made a 63 yard run that could change the whole game! We scored again to make the score 21 – 7. It hit half-time,  and our coaches gave us a pep talk and told us not to get too cocky and get your heads back in the game.

After halftime it was Redford’s ball and nobody had scored yet. We were able to stop them on fourth down to give us the ball on their own 15 yard line! We scored again with our gold offense with the score 28 – 7.

After that touchdown, it was the fourth quarter and nothing had happened yet.  It went most of the time like that until their team scored to make the score 14 – 28 in the fourth quarter. They kicked the ball off, and it was ours again.  After that we made a few 3 yard runs, and we tried to do it again until……….. “FUMBLE”!!!! the announcer yelled. Our coaches were shocked that our running back just did that. Our coaches were screaming at him, but it didn’t matter. The game was over.

On my way out  the coaches gave us oranges and blue Gatorades and told us, “Don’t let this win get to your heads! Way too many missed tackles.” My mom and dad were so proud of my team. But after all that jazz my dad said that we were going out to eat. I was so happy and out of breath.
