“Are we there yet?” I chanted to my cousins in the van as we were heading to the movie theater. This was a time my cousins and I went to see Smallfoot.

A couple days ago, my cousins and I went to buy tickets to see Smallfoot. Once we got to the counter, the place seem so big. Someone opened the door, and I could smell the scent of popcorn. The man behind the counter gave me my ticket. I felt so excited! I jumped up and down and said, “This is awesome!” I went to sit on a bench while my cousins were still buying their tickets, and I noticed lots of posters of new movies.

After a while, we went to the snackbar to get some chow. I ended up getting a small popcorn with an orange soda. While I was standing and waiting for my cousins, I was feeling so excited . I saw big advertisements on the walls. My cousins came and I said, “Let’s go see this movie!”. I ran to be first to the theater. “1st!” I said, walking into the movie room.

Finally, we sat back relaxed and watched the movie. The seats vibrated from how loud the movie noise was. I got up to take off my shoes, and I saw people sitting in rows. I sat back down, finding a button to move my chair back and forth. Two hours later the popcorn was empty, the soda was half empty, and the movie was over. Walking out of the movie room, I was feeling tired. When we came outside the bright lights hurt my eyes. We got into the van to leave.

I was glad to go see Smallfoot with my cousins. I want to come again. This was a time me and my cousins went to the movies.
