Well tomorrow is the day for the A.M. class. Don’t forget that the students stay in school until 11:45 so they will be arriving home late.

Please put names on all backpacks, diapers and extra clothes please!

I will send home a supply list later in the week. I just didn’t want everything sent in the first day of school with the diapers and extra clothes.

We are very fortunate to have two wonderful paraprofessionals returning for another school year with us Ms. Afrah Fetteh and Ms. Timea Szirmal.

Can’t wait to see the children in the morning! Hope I can sleep tonight 🙂

No School – Friday August 30th and Monday September 2 – Labor Day

Hope everyone had a great summer! I had a very busy summer camping with my family, visiting friends and enjoying the beautiful Michigan weather. Well today I didn’t enjoy the hot weather unpacking the classroom without air conditioning. Please watch the weather next week because it gets very hot in the classroom so dress your children appropriately.

First day of school for the A.M. class will be Monday August 26. The students will be in school until 11:45 so the buses will be running late.

First day of school for the P.M. class will be Tuesday August 27.

If you haven’t heard from transportation and would like to know the pick up and drop off times please call transportation at 313-827-3300.

I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s summer and what they have been up to!

I just want to Thank all of you for a wonderful week last week.  I really did feel appreciated and love all my gifts:)  I have the most thoughtful and caring parents.  I truly love working with your children and Thank You for giving me the opportunity to do so.  I have the best job ever!!!

We are also learning Nursery rhymes.  Today we learned Baa Baa black sheep and tomorrow it will be Jack and Jill.
