We earned another Badge!

Children love to re-read their favorite books over and over again.

Children benefit greatly re-reading as they learn the rhyming or predictable pattern of the text.

Research shows that repeated reading of favorite books can boost vocabulary by up to 40%. (United for Literacy)

Happy First Day Of Spring

I was hoping the weather was going to cooperate today for the social choices but it doesn’t look like it. If you want to stay on a schedule for the weekend please go back and pick a reading, math or social activity to work on. In preschool repetition is the key to learning.

Please watch for a special Friday Fun activity and pictures from yesterday’s work. Internet problems at my house last night 🙁

Occupational Therpist

Some of your children receive occupational therapy so I have added Ms. Margaret blog to my blog so you can directly go there. Today she has posted some wonder Home Exercises she would like parents to work on. If you have any questions you can send her a message under her comment and she will be glad to answer them. Even if your child does not receive occupational therapy you can still go to her blog and use the suggestions. Any questions please let me know.

Ms. Margaret’s blog can be found on the right side of this post. Click on her name and it should go right there.
