Mrs. Schuit's Early Childhood Special Education

Dearborn Public Schools

Look at all the GREAT work that is taking place! I am so proud of my students and parents!!!

Shahd working hard on her alphabet hunt!
So hard at work!

Aflah working on his numbers!
Mohamed sorting out his colors! Love the box!
Mohamed taking a break on his trampoline!
Ashraf reading a book in his window!
Ashraf counting his cars!

I am very thankful for all the hard working everyone is putting into this virtual teaching. We don’t know how long this will last so we are all in this together. I will be contacting everyone about each child’s personal goals. Most of these activities are covering them but I want to share with you your child’s goals. You have a copy of them from the IEP meeting that we have once a year. If you could find that by Monday that will be easier for you when I contact you about the goals. Have a great weekend and keep sending me the pictures and video’s. More pictures are on the way I got a little behind.

Happy Friday!

Today we are going to draw MAT MAN!

The students can draw along with the song or watch the song first then practice drawing MAT MAN. Parents you may want to draw a sample with them.

After they are done with MAT MAN don’t forget to put your name on your paper.

Maybe if you want to practice drawing people you can draw your family.

I will be waiting to see your drawings!

Good Morning!

Please refer back to the choice boards from last week if you need extra activities. I am trying to find games to help the children move around and stay busy.

You don’t need to write all 26 letters at one time. You can start with 5 and then add more if the children are interested. Don’t have a clip board you can use a notebook or a dry erase board.
Be creative! Don’t have a big box use a shoe box and drop in cars or legos.

Happy Tuesday

Today we are going to work on Math activities.

  • Write numbers on post-its or little pieces of paper and put them in order to create a number line.
