This week we will finalize our learning and investigations on the topic Energy Pyramid of any ecosystem.
This week in Science students will:
- Complete and evaluate their Frayer models and their colleagues as we carry a round table discussion.
- Give feedback what science stations they needed to review together as a class.
- Generate notes in their science journals about the cycling of biomass and flow of energy in an ecosystem among biotic and abiotic factors, as I use the power point I posted on Google classroom.
- Turn in and present their ENERGY PYRAMID project. Project is due on Thursday for A-Day students, and on Friday for B-Day students.
- Energy Pyramid Test will be administered on Thursday for A-Day students and on Friday for B-Day students.
I will preview students’ science journals during TEST day to assess their note-taking and organizational skills.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday 10/24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. I am looking forward to seeing you on either day to discuss your child’s progress and behavior in science. As an incentive to my students, they will receive 10% extra credit if their parents see me during conferences.
